IN THE NEWS

Sometimes looking back.... you realize that every page or year of your life...shapes you as a person, wife, mother, or an artist!
Here are some clippings from newsprint, newsletters or magazines from my past:

My art career began in Stratford, Ontario with the encouragement from my teacher, Lin Souliere who inspired me to join the Stratford Guild of Artists!

Throughout the years, Lin has become my mentor and closest artist friend who inspired me to lead my own path!

Moving to Hanover, Ontario in 2001, I began teaching watercolours as a way to connect with the community and create new friendships.

In 2006 our Medical Mission Trip to Ghana, Africa imprinted my love of travel, helping others in need and inspired me as an artist meeting a young emerging Ghanaian artist Jonathan Kwegyir Aggrey.

In 2009, I joined other local artists, to create a drop in gallery at the Walkerton Public Library.

Bev receiving awards from the Walkerton Public Library April events every year. A joy for Bev to have other  family members with awards as well: Jenn, Mackenzie, & Kylie and Joyce Morgan

Bev was a Featured Artist in Blanks Magazine June 2017

Bev also taught many art workshops at the Hanover Public Library a few times a year.

The Saugeen Artists started back in November 2006 with 6 local artists and in February 2018, the artist group became a 'Not for Profit' organization.
Throughout the years, Bev was on the executive to promote local artists, arts and culture in the Hanover community.
